VOLUNTEER CORPS.

MILITARY & CIVILIAN - DRESS & EQUIPMENT

Here is a list of the equipment that an infantry soldier needs to get started. We have broken it down by category. PLEASE, when you go to purchase the equipment, ASK another soldier or command officer to give you advice on what to buy. There are alot of questionable items out there that sutlers will be happy to sell to you. It is better to ask and only purchase what is correct for your unit and not have to go back to purchase needed items again. You do not have to purchase everything at once.

The 2D PRVC promotes period correctness and encourages members in the hobby to support sutlers that provide quality goods. The 2D PRVC does have a limited supply of military clothing and equipment that you can borrow.

It is better to ask and only purchase what is correct for your portrayal and not have to go back to purchase needed items again. You do not have to purchase everything at once. Come out and join the hospitality of the ladies. Stories, laughter and friendship are all part of the experience.
